Mick Fuller-shit is setting his squaddies up for a bad time if they go hard in lidcombe or Auburn. Those people will pop eventually. We know they can coordinate pretty well, like we saw in cronulla.

The fuel storage / preservation issue is one that I'm going to take a fresh new look at very shortly! Suddenly Elons cybertruck doesn’t seem such a crazy idea after all. Just add solar array and happy driving.

Afghanistan is a total disaster. The country fell in 11 days. People were clinging onto the planes engines and wheels as they took off and fell to their deaths. The Taliban have isolated the airport and not letting anyone in or out, going around finding all westerners and executing them. Confiscating all private guns, executing woma who are not wearing a Burka. A small riot broke out and they fired into the crowd killing a number of people. A German plan was sent in rescue German citizens and those that assisted the Germans in the war, but had to leave with only 8 person on board as most of them were trapped outside of the airport. If one looks at refuges especially economic, the world over it is always tens of thousands of men and almost no woman. We saw that when fighting broke out in Syria. In the US there has been 2million refugees from South America since Biden took office. Looking at all the planes from Afghanistan it is mostly men, they leave the woman behind. It is a planned and orchestrated total destruction of the west, lucky Australia has no land borders. The only reason why conservatives are in gov in Australia is they stopped the boat people. A conservative Christian blogger that I follow has gone completely ballistic on what Afghanistan means to the world. The USA is now weak and pathetic, it is a clue to China that it is now time to invade Taiwan. Time to get those Gerry cans filled as if war breaks out in the China Sea, fuel will be cut off to Australia… The Apocalypse is on the way, things are now in motion. theeconomiccollapseblog.com/the-collapse-of-afghanistan-has-brought-us-a-lot-closer-to-a-chinese-invasion-of-taiwan/theeconomiccollapseblog.com/afghanistan-is-the-thread-that-will-start-to-unravel-western-dreams-of-a-new-world-order/theeconomiccollapseblog.com/the-myth-of-u-s-invincibility-has-now-been-completely-shattered/I don’t agree with the afghanistan comparison to china. China has a lot to lose economically where as Astan had nothing other sheer human willpower which has never been broken in any recent conflict. China has mega dams, cities, power plants, factories, ships to lose. The average afghani had a small heard of goats, a busted toyota and some dope. The war will look a lot different and i don’t think the allies would necessarily need boots in the ground to cause a major headache for China. Just bomb it to oblivion and walk away. China can’t they need troops to hold taiwan and teach it a lesson. it could go a-stan on them but methinks they won’t care about genocide.

DD it sounds like an amazing climate to grow a wide range of fruit and veg. hot wet summers and cold snowy (?) winters. There is a place in Australia, Mildura, where you can grow cherries and mangoes together. Some places are really gardens of eden.

CHina stopped the 1 child policy in 2015 and changed it into 2 kids, which I believe is now been increased to 3 kids to get everyone pumping those kids out for future army/factory slaves. China also has "mandatory military service from 18-24yrs for all males" but with so many each year turning 18, they only early need to register themselves and a few thousands are selected for actual service, but if things were to get kinetic, they would take everyone they could and force them through. I dont remember the details of it but I remember listening to an assessment of their population growth and it was saying they have screwed themselves over to a degree with their 1 child strategy. Something along the lines of they'll hit a point in the future where all those 1 kids are the workforce supporting the economy and there will not be enough of them to support the considerably larger aged population. I'm sure the CCP will deal with it but they created a rod for their own backs. They could go the soylent green option? In seriousness Australia and many western countries have the same trajectory with aging populations.

One good thing nsw police commissioner said was that he would not impose a dicktata style curfew. Some sense amongst the smoke and mirrors, for the time being at least.

I hear you Beno. Understanding the extent of meddling in the US election is a real challenge in this day and age with all the vested interests and the consequential bias in the reporting we get exposed to. God only knows what the truth is there. Trust your instincts with respect to where we are headed with China. Chinese expansion in the South China sea is a given. Think about how this extends their military reach with ballistic missiles & air & naval force projection. Chinese intent with respect to Taiwan is well known. Chinese rhetoric from its 'wolf warriors' is on the public record. What we know of Chinese military expansion via open source channels is cause for concern. Chinese cyber attacks are real & widespread and I saw evidence of that in my military career. Make your own judgements about how the CCP controls the information the Chinese people get to see and how that might influence their thinking. Consider what you know about the sudden and sizeable increases the Australian government has made to defence spending aimed at responding to the threat from China. With all of those factual considerations in mind it is not hard to conclude with a high degree of confidence that we have a great deal to be concerned about with China. Of course there are many other alarming things that get reported about Chinese activity and those things may have varying levels of accuracy making the pucture even worse but the well understood core issues are enough that we should all be genuinely concerned about China and how to deal with it. I think we should be on an overt war footing with .gov forcing curtailed investment & manufacturing in China. Likewise we should be reduilding domestic manufacturing and reserves. Being on a war footing means reducing government spending in many areas to bolster our national resilience. This is where .gov needs courage to cut back in popular spending areas and spend where it counts, they need to communicate the threat openly & clearly to shutdown the vocal social welfare pundits and take the hurt in order to strengthen this country. It'll be too late once the cyber attacks get serious and the missiles launch from the South China Sea and of course China will already have put an almighty economic, trade & supply squeeze on us at the same time. I shake my head in despair wondering how your average Australian will cope with that widespread and far reaching economic & lifestyle disruption and brute force military attack on Australian soil when things like disrupted toilet paper supply setmed to rock so many boats in recent history. Yeah i get that and agree. But i’m super curious what upset the happy little fairy tale we were being told not that long ago? It was all “asian century” mutual agreements, co-operation, free trade etc etc. It was all BS and yet we kept feeding the beast even when we knew it would end up biting us. I think we simply got outplayed using our own subterfuge rulebook. Hilarious when you look at it that way. The only issue i see bigger than China is our unelected ruling technocrat elites.

Paper maps are gold i used to study my local maps for hours finding new places to check out. I think they are no longer being made and have gone to digital copies. Hopefully they can still be printed and be high quality.

I took the day off today. I have a large stand of lantana that is going under the chop and begin my spring compost pile. Where lantana is cleared t makes a great planting bed as the lantana mulch is very fertile. There are other weeds around that haven’t gone to seed that will get the same treatment.
DD yes i knew they were edible but have not tried any yet. I was thinking to lightly fry in a stir fry meal and eat them that way once the time comes.
Ive also started experimenting with sprouting in a germination box to get some early seedlings and to protect some tender veg types. I think it’s now too late to be truly effective as it is starting to get a bit warmer already but what the heck. I have planted water melon, pumpkin, rhubarb, cabbage, peas, more onions, carrots and celery. A good potato crop is about 1/2 way there too. I like growing potatoes they produce good hearty food.

Pretty full on there Stevo. The problem is i’m so distrustful that i don’t believe some of the footage due to thinking they are deep fakes. I dunno anymore. A couple of years ago i was thinking china was firm but not so much of a real threat. Now i’m real concerned….what’s changed to make me change my view so absolutely? I just don’t know what to believe anymore.

That news title sounds a bit ray ray.
We have passed the point of being able to initiate an effective pre emptive strike. Coronavirus weakened the world and accelerated the Chinese agenda.

The Olympics should change their logo from coloured rings to a big fat white elephant. Qld was the only contender cause all the others have wised up to the economic hardship that the Olympics brings. The QLD premier is a bit of a fool.

Gas, oil, coal are not really the issue. It’s the 8+ billion and rising unchecked population that will kill the system.
I’m sick of the guilt applied to Australia and the way we live. We are a large country with a small, mobile and high tech population with generally excellent services and a range of options and aspirations that each individual can attain if they have a go. WE LIVE A LUXURIOUS LIFE THAT SHOULD BE THE ENVY OF THE WORLD!! But yet we are made to feel guilty for the failures of other countries and their over population and subsequent failure of their basic systems including ecosystems. 8 billion people requires rainforest to be destroyed, farmland to be abused and fisheries to be raped. A small high tech, healthy and free global population could have seen this globe face a different path but it is inevitable human locusts will destroy it no matter how many fancy windmills and solar panels we make. A small world population could have solved the energy issue with the blink of an eye but powering up 8+ billion to help most rise from poverty is a fallacy.
I don’t feel guilty for any of the worlds global warming issues at all. Again we are the model in most aspects. Small population could have meant we are buffered from major environmental issues cause we haven’t stressed the system. Lets look to China, india, Us and the swath of countries in Africa who have no control of their populations or who have economic polices to increase them. It’s a case of do something about your people first or bugger off and leave me alone.
Carbon tax my bum, we should put in place a population tax and then see what happens.
end rant.
