The 5.11 pants I have are cooler than jeans, lighter and more flexible. Could depend on the type of jeans you have I guess but in general I'd say it holds true.
I bought from Amazon US as i buy a lot from the US and have a mail forwarder.

The only time I remember getting the flu was when I had a shot for it through work. Until then it was only ever a runny nose for a few days. 1st and last time.
That was a few years ago and I've never had it since. I've been working/living with a few sick people of late and not even had a blocked nose this year.
Loads of people around that seem to have it though, I noticed several local aged care facilities in lock down due to outbreaks.

Apart from being a fire hazard waiting to happen I'm not sure if it was the way to go or very cost effective.
Seems like he went too big, $10k on the setup thats 3x larger than the Tesla seems like wasted $ on capacity he doesn't need especially when hes used old gear thats not going to last nearly as long.
Nice work that hes done and got it working but give me the $10k and I'd build a more suitable system for myself that will last longer.

If you have a bolt action and DB shotgun vs AR15s though, not good odds. I disagree. A bolt action or shotty in the right hands can be lethal over and above a semi or full auto. It depends on whose hands what is in. Most definitely, one on one the guy with the bolt gun will likely have better range and accuracy giving him some advantage. When its one guy with a bolt gun though vs 30 guys with various weapons including atleast one semi auto rifle, those are not good odds.

The only viable option is to leave.
You can't win against that many (not with a bolt gun and DB shottie anyhow) and even if you could keep them out they'll just burn the house down with you inside.
Take what you can and leave as quickly and quietly as possible. Its not your place anyhow so you have somewhere to go.

Hmm, looking around the room; 2x swords (real not gimmicks) one is a hand and a half sword the other is a Rapier. A couple Spyderco folders on the shelf A Esse 6 on a shelf near the door to this room A compound bow on the top shelf with arrows A draw full of knives approx 20. Folders, fixed b;ades and a tomahawk A pelican case full of Spydercos/ZT's approx 30 A pelican case with 8-10 Busse fixed blades A spear gun A hand spear A traditional English longbow and arrows Oh and the main handgun safe This is of course the man cave room.

Can hunt land based and air based animals Can fish from land, boat or under water (free diving or scuba) Can build the traps and trap animals
I can clean and fillet fish with out much hassle but the others I've never really cleaned them up, just provided. I know enough to get it done though I'm sure.
Never slaughtered any farm animals, still its just like the above.

There is lots you can do but it also comes down to how determined or spiteful the attackers are. Not much you can do if they decide to burn you out as eventually they will succeed.
A lot also comes down to your home, brick and concrete over timber. Elevated position over level block. Thick gardens walls/fencing etc to prevent access etc
Simple things that can be done to any home;
- Reinforce all door frames and replace screws with longer thicker gauge screws, this can make a huge difference to a standard door. - Additional deadbolt locks on all entry points - Roller shutters on windows - Motion activated lights (depends on the scenario, good for now but not so much into a bad SHTF event as it tells them you have power) - Security system, lots of noise and lights. - Non obvious security cameras, more so you can monitor than a deterrent. - Decoy/fake security cameras that are easily seen, hopefully act as a deterrent since you can't tell the difference between decoy/fake ones and the real deal from the road and its something for the determined criminals to find and destroy thinking they have them all they may miss the non obvious cameras. (during SHTF I'd remove them, it tells people there is something inside worth stealing)
