That was a thrilling read. hard to fault the logic and the long term causes of what is happening now. I need to look into what that little turd hunter biden was doing un Ukraine.

I squeezed in a lemon and a lime today. Purchased a big planter pot to jam in some more herds and grow them a bit closer to the house. My bananas are loving this wet weather and are suckering 3 months after planting. Put in some sprouting potatoes, some were from my last crop and some from the shops. I planted them in an isolated quarantine garden to limit the introduction of disease and viruses.

I like the Swiss steel as it not too hard and you can get a great edge quickly. Downside is that it requires more regular sharpening. i prefer to get an edge quicker as i can't be stuffed spending 20 mins or more scraping hard steel to achieve the same result as softer steel.

I’m not sure but it looks like a big conventional detonation or ammo dump going up. I would have thought a nuke flash would have had a greater effect on driver and i think nuke detonations would be much more detectable from far away. Looks like there is some legitimate bang bang going on. What’s tungsten used for? armour piercing?

Well considering we can only just keep up with the supply of poo tickets, i think maintaining hellfire missile supply would create massive challenges.

I’m sitting here having lunch watching the winter olympics and ice skating. This trick is called the flying camel spin. I wonder why? lol.

Any ADF or military buffs here?
My question is would a shooting war actually succeed? It seems armies have all the gear but how many days of shooting consumables to they have to wage a war? Look at the production and logistics of ww1 and 2 and see the huge quantity of consumables needed to keep it going. I just can’t see a super power shooting war going on for long before ammo and rockets run out. We are not shooting at goat herders this time.

Excellent start. now to buy a bucket to get water from a to b. I’ll never need to worry about water. Bucket is the backup plan. Plan A is my Honda firefighting/water transfer pump. How have you sorted your water supply? Diverse investments have everything covered and if that's not enough average annual rainfall of 1300mm tops it off. Strategically placed interconnected tanks, bore testing at 8 L/s and a permanent creek with deep sump pools running at approx 1/2 - 1 meg a day during the worst drought in the districts history. It’s average would be about 5-10 meg a day. The dams are ear popping deep, never have run dry and loaded with eels, some bass and a few ducks too. The best thing i did was install an electric jet pump on the biggest dam, yep electric pump, on a dam. It’s about to irrigate an 3/4 acre of market gardens for the missus to manage over the next few months. The best thing is most of this was already here when i bought the place. I just made it awesome with some sensible redesigns of pipework and pump selection. If i were you I’d built a small pump shed on that pool and lay 1 1/2 inch ag underground to your hut. Better to over engineer your water supply than just get by. It’s bugger all difference in cost. If yer ever needed to get serious out there you’d be able to meet your water demands for a big garden with that setup. Try and keep your fittings buried in a fireproof box if you can, fire can burn your whole pipe out if exposed fittings/taps catch alight. it’ll burn underground no problem too and leave you scratching your head saying wtf. let’s talk about our soils next.

A water tank is not a big ticket item. Either you have enough storage or not. Better to sort it out properly or do the last minute rush around with your fingers crossed. In 2020 those things went like hot cakes in my area along with a thousand other items that the masses cottoned on to. No use having million dollar properties and skimp on the smaller detail.

Weight training will be your friend. Keep it simple and build up weight slowly. You’ll burn extra kj for 2 days after a decent work out.
another tip is don’t stick to an eating routine for too long. keep changing it up so your body is confused and can’t adjust to the default setting of storing lard which is our bodies ultimate goal.

All my water is treated multiple times. First it is evaporated, condensed, solarised by the sun then aerated as it is being dropped onto my roof then aerated again flowinginto a tank. The frogs and bird crap are just flavourings.

The downfall was when some of the newbies started posting pics and content of real goings on that threatened the couch survivalist club and their stained on and often disgusting opinions. Ii liked some of the old content but also some of the newbie stuff was interesting too. It never meshed well due to personalities. The trolling and oneupmanship got so bad people just left. good riddance.

This qualifies as stupid in my book. Setting up camp under 30m cliff on the beach. Cliff collapse
