I can taste plastic in the water so i assume it’s plastic juice and not doing me any good. but it’s water. The water bladders deteriorate quickly in the heat and the liner decomposes to form flakes of plastic the size of glitter. When i worked up north we used steel water carrier's bolted under the ute. They’d also flavour up but at least it was organic.

I took my two shots and felt wonderful, invigorated, brimming with vitality. I will be taking my booster shot just as soon as the bartender gets back from his break.

Got a few tomato and oregano cuttings starting to root. I will let them go for a bit longer and plant them into some wet medium. The tom cuttings are a bit big but so far so good. The zucchini are going well. we will produce enough for the next 2 months and the succession seedlings should take over from there. I’m trying to put away heaps of dried herbs. it takes a lot of vegetation to get a jar full of dried product.

Hi Tomatoes. Tricky spot but i'd use IBCs cut in half or the end thirds and make something like wicking beds. They are highly productive, in most cases much better than the dirt. You can control the water and cover them well too. There appears to be not so much sun exposure but that area should still procuce and might surprise particularly in summer. I would not use raised beds unless you can stop root invasion.
Plant directly in to that location and roots will suck nutrients and water away from veges and fruit trees too.

Exactly Spinifex. But this is really an attempt to insert crazy regulation, training and permitting requirements. They can,t stop hunting, racing and farming but they can regulate it to a slow death. Sound familiar?

If they take Taiwan the world bends over to China as they will have nearly all control over the worlds production of semiconductors. No chips, no ability to wage modern war. The end. Have we woken up yet? No.
If i were Taiwan i would have rigged the whole semiconductor show with enough boom boom to make Dresden look like cracker night.

It’s not really the camera itself that is the issue. it’s the emerging associated software that rapidly analyses the camera data, detects anomalies (like the blob the brolly makes)and decides whether to pre-emptively lay waste to said anomaly.

I went to school with a heap of Taiwanese. It wan’t until years later that i concluded they were the early get out of dodge brigade. They were pretty cool kids. Their desire to integrate should make most newcomers blush. one bloke named “John” had a fetish for XXXX, aged 12, he would not stop talking about it. Yes i’m referring to the beer.

Excellent. Well that’s about 80-90kg lighter than i would have thought. I guess it depends on how tight it’s packed. 1 bloke can move that easily which if needing to is a big bonus on getting gone quick.

I think i’ll be right. I’m surrounded by my own food and more than enough to feed us for as long as we need but i do need more variety hence getting more grains. I also have stores but no where near as much as that. We just won't need so much regardless of what happens. I’m lucky i live at my retreat I don’t need to move anything.
Do you know how much the 44s weigh with the food in them? I’d think they would be on par with ones filled with fuel (?) Any storage tips other than freezing first? I chose steel drums over plastic cause i've seen rats eat into plastic ones.

Is this some Australian scientific term?? Hahaha yep! Aussie scientific slang. I usually save this term for big fish but couldn’t help myself.

It appears India is likely to run out of coal by the end of the week. India running out of coal too.
Supplies are getting squeezy tight for some primary materials. I’m not one to usually stock up huge amounts of food, fuel etc but i might reconsider this and have a crack at filling a 44 with some rice ‘n grain. Just in case…

I got rid of the organic sweet potatoes i had planted. the taste was not great and i just dug them out. They did survive winter and a rabbit invasion and were doing well but they had to go. I dug these badboys out a few days ago. The largest potato was 850 grams. I have no evidence as it was eaten quickly after harvest 🥔🥔. So far each plant has yielded a bit over 1kg per plant which is about right according to the books. There were a few stonkers in that crop. Got some garlic and great onions coming through too. Our peas were woeful this season and some others in my area had the same issue. Don’t know why. Passionfruit is flowering and fruiting prolifically and after 40mm rain things are looking good in general. I’m trialling some potatoes from the shop that went to bud in the bag. Their form so far is remarkable. Fresh vigorous growth. I plants them in a quickly dug bed well away from my main garden to reduce disease risk. The hippy down the road has onions or onion like plant in and are looking good. His other crops look a bit ratty. not sure what they are but i can see plenty of weeds and he has not mulched this yet.

Expect a lot of arable farming land to be locked up in the future as farmers will soon be under the knife post the upcoming UN meeting on "General Assembly, High-level meeting on Climate Change" and "UN Food Systems Summit" later this month It will be locked up for average Joe. People like Bill Gates can’t get enouh agricultural land at the moment. They know what is coming. Bill is also running the laboratory meat racket as well. The super rich own this show, no one can get into farming without big dollars to back them. Why? Control the food, control the people. UN = GMOs, Corporate farms, restricted means of production i.e. no seeds for punters and crazy regulations, Impossible or expensive “humaneness” targets, lab meat, subsidised mega ag and eventually soylent green.
