Ok let’s torque about helicoils.
I’ve had them installed in my bikes on occasion. I like to ride high performance dirtbikes but the bloody things have alloy engines and use steel bolts, a horrible combination for the ham fisted mechanic. I have stripped threads on a range of things but the sump plug thread takes the cake. I did not install the helicoil but i can say that it worked a treat and did not leak any oil.
i believe the kits are cheap and easy to use. Better still use that 1/4 inch ratchet kelabar and you won’t need helicoils. lol

Snares

I can not find any official advice that snaring is illegal in NSW. The legislation (cruelty to animals) mentions snaring twice but doesnt say its illegal. Might have to ring DPI. Same, couldn't find anything definitive. (2) For the purposes of this Act, a reference to an act of cruelty committed upon an animal includes a reference to any act or omission as a consequence of which the animal is unreasonably, unnecessarily or unjustifiably: (a) beaten, kicked, killed, wounded, pinioned, mutilated, maimed, abused, tormented, tortured, terrified or infuriated, (b) over-loaded, over-worked, over-driven, over-ridden or over-used, (c) exposed to excessive heat or excessive cold, or (d) inflicted with pain. i guess you have to navigate the intent of the above and determine that snaring is not unreasonable, unnecessary and can be justified. Rabbits and pigs are feral pests but the counter argument would be that there are many other tried and tested control techniques that are more effective and humane. hmmm it’s an interesting question!

cage traps are ok. i use them all the time for cats and the odd fox. There are rules for their use and they need to be checked minimum once a day otherwise it becomes a welfare issue. Lead to the head is still the most humane method, quick and painless. The mincing pansies won’t support this as an option as there is blood and nervous reactions that causes the pansy much distress.

I hope botulism doesn’t go up as a result. Canning is something you want to get right 100% of the time. Speaking of which i got a hankering for some homemade strawberry jam right now.

Easy out or similar stuck or broke bolt removers. A decent vice chain tongs pipe cutters as many types and number of files you can get. Except Peter files. super glue bearing pullers and drivers.

Well, him buying a huge chunk of gold means the price will automatically go up due to the all people who follow his lead. Self-perpetuating investment? Sounds likely, self perpetuating just like the share market and realestate. on the upside there are more jobs of Aussie miners. The mine near peak hill is going off, huge development.

having a stash of food whilst starving was a defining reason to pull him out. he had lost his rational thinking.

I lied and went straight to season 3. nearly finished this season but can’t help think there is a better way to pick a winner than see who can starve the longest. Maybe calculate total percentage of body mass loss and whoever loses the least weight wins?? And Dave, whoa what a way to go, the psychology is so interesting when people start starving and are alone for so long.
I’d like to see some of these people try to live a bit better in samll teams and see how things change. that could be a risk and we might see some documented cannibalism.....

*yawn* Yanks are always running out of ammo cause they are obsessed with AR/AK meltdown tests 😂 Beno Got to agree with that! It’s the true cost of having fun.

I’ve got one and it works well if you read and understand how to set them up properly. They need to be adjusted to suit the ambient light conditions of your work location. You can increase the speed of activation and the darkness according to the amperage of your welding rod setting if you have a stick welder. It felt weird at first and i found myself squinting just in case but now it’s not a problem.

Where are you guys finding all the full episodes?. YT seems to mainly have small individual segments. What was the link above on S2e2 shown on? I just started watching them and so far it’s quite enjoyable.

Norseman i’m suss on the use of the term “creamy-daegu” in their link. The price of admission to russia might be humiliating.

1. no. like someone said before, use or enforce the existing rules properly. The mexicans have used disaster powers Twice in one year. This is not a disaster and is preventable for most individuals if they cared that much to take the appropriate precautions. 2. Enforce existing rules. Don’t give so much notice before closing borders. There were a metric shit ton of grey nomads that are up my way that laugh about escaping victoria before the lockdown....yeah well done dikheads. 3. Victoria will remain locked down and borders closed until foreseeable future. Major economic meltdown seems inevitable.

State of emergency powers apparently can allow al sorts of other laws to effectively be ignored so that the probe can be fully inserted.
