All these articles in the news lately are getting the population used to the idea of war subliminally! Not just in far away lands but much closer to home! That's the whole point, it's propaganda at its finest. If they are getting us used to the thought of war, it's rather concerning. Remember ww2 propaganda? Romanticing war? Yup. We are getting back to that stage.

I collect dryer lint... yeah, I'm one of those guys. OH MAN, my washing machine collects and compresses lint into convenient little blocks. Thank you for an amazing idea. Mine does that too! I'll have to give it a go for how flammable it is next time I empty it (almost due anyhow)

if we could get livestock like sheep, goats or chickens, they would be ideal jobs for kids (they could do them in groups, and wouldnt be an issue so long as they werent rowdy )

actually cob homes are something ive been interested in for a while, if shtf and i cant get containers, thats my next option, lol
im thinking a town block at least (which is what, 6x4 yards at the current typical size at the minimum, allowing people space and garden/workshop room
and, some may prefer the ancient european way of doing things, communal houses with two or more families, seperate dwelling areas, but communal kitchen/gathering areas aka atriums.

considering we would eb going there with nothing pretty much, permanent structures would likely entail cob style buildings. that would also assist in excavation for bunkers/basements
