It would be a great stimulus measure to build several strategic oil reservoirs around the country but it would take a while to build. Maybe we could meet our 90 day strategic storage goals? The negative dollars would actually pay for this so it’s a win win in the short term. I still think electrification of vehicles is going to win the race but the short term benefits are significant.

Typical 9 news sensationalising the storey. “Stormed” uh no, “Armed” yes but business as usual. They are armed when they stuff their faces with maccas too. Part of the uniform. The police force is deliberately looking more paramilitary with many of their uniforms and you have to wonder why. Sourcing M4s is another recent development towards the paramilitary look and response. Look at the US and their policing responses, equipment and armoury and you have to breathe a sigh of relief we are not like that.....yet. Further to add and disregarding the overblown headline these police are pathetic for what they've done and should be condemned for their insensitive behaviour. Back in the day we did call them total dickheads now they are just Victorian Police! Yes of course, i totally agree that this behaviour is not in our countries best interest in the long term. I'm really enjoying the ruling against the AFP today.

their is @#$%ute but it is so slow for me its unusable at times, most times its ok but others just very slow, maybe my net connection though.
edit: lmao
This forum thinks the web address to www dot bit chute dot com is a naughty word!
l’d be reluctant to use the word chute in a search these days😬. I tried to find alternatives and found one that was ok bit just didn’t have enough content. I’ll see if i can find it and get the name of it too you. The more people that use it the more power to become a viable alternative to spyonyoutube.

We've just introduced $5000 in the spot fines for spitting and coughing on ES staff.
What is it with yanks bashing bus drivers? I’ve seen way too much footage of such behaviour over the past 12 months.

2 big things i’ve noticed in Aus over the past 24hrs that has significant question marks over them are
1. the convicted by jury pedo Pell has been released. This has occurred amongst the noice of covid 19 and will quietly go away. So three (chances are one or more are pedos themselves)judges get to over rule a jury of the people. WTF?
2. WA har apparently going to use electronic ankle bracelets on people caught breaking quarantine laws. Sounds sus but at least they aren’t hacking peoples phones and data.
The stick is being flexed.

There has been a lack of bulk carriers loading grain at the regional terminal here. Usually there is at least one ship at the warf loading at any given time plus a few anchored off-shore waiting to take a load. Now they are nowhere in sight. Some folks somewhere (likely the ME) are going to be short on food if the ships are not bringing them their usual grain deliveries. A few truckies I've spoken to are on edge that the grain shipments will stop - then so do they. One of my mates just recently financed a Prime mover & 2 trailers to cart grain! He was also a captain on a lobster boat, but they have all shut down. There's 1 carrier in today, I'll keep an eye out over the week. Ahhh that sucks and is sad to hear but it’s happening all over. This is where the gov needs to prioritise stimulus, Aussies who are having a go and have taken the risk to get ahead. Supporting whiny little cucks like Alan Joyce should be verboten.

There is no conspiracy here. The sooner we get back on the hamster wheel the better according to them.

We’ve just had great germination of broccoli by really compacting the soil after the seeds were planted. Don’t know why but it worked. We literally trampled the seeds with boots and they nearly all sprouted.

Drugs is a big one. What happens when all the local supplies dry up and the junkies can’t get their fix? Almost like a total forced rehab. It could be a good thing in the long run?
We have a good supply of food at the IGA. There was some TP!
I’m working from home and all the normal BS is absent from my job. I really feel for those less fortunate but i’m having a much better time of my work. The missus is getting a job out of this, i feel conflicted but we spent so many hard years in remote areas to make this happen i can’t stop smiling. I intend to help others if need be, gotta share the love.

Aren’t prisons supposed to be one of the better places to lock people down?
It defies belief that they would consider this. Just imagine all the freaks, junkies, violent crims being let go just when society is at it’s weakest. Bit i would not be surprised. The .gov response has confirmed my belief that they can’t manage this type of situation.

Emu gives (most) white fellas sloppy guts. Saw it a couple of times and some of my aboriginal friends got immense delight in facilitating this cleansing.

I’m glad the QLD border is closed. It will prevent a few leeches i know from attempting to converge on my place. However i heard a rumour they wanted to cross the border undetected to go for a bushwalk. Wankers. It’s people like that that will keep this disruption going longer than it needs to.

I guess i’d better go first. Like i said in prior thread i don’t gots much to offer.
small numbers of Panama gold passionfruit seed, heirloom yellow cucumber (delish) and heirloom cherry tomato (2 varieties) seeds.
Will swap for kent and/or butternut pumpkin, silverbeet (prefer fordhook giant), Herbs or anything interesting that will grow in the sub tropics.

Wow how quickly this situation has developed. Gimme 12 billion in lost exports any day compared to the current cost of stimulus. Everyone else seems to be getting a handout except me. Anyone else missing out here?
I’m still waiting for some WA lobster to come onto the domestic market, that's not lost export if we can help consume a few.

No price changes my way for the past week. No TP at the shop at all and nearly no bread. Plenty of everything else.
